Farm to Table Dining Experience - August 24, 2024

Join us at the historic Donald Gordon Hotel and Conference Centre to celebrate the partnership between Kingston and Frontenac Counties through a local culinary journey! Our talented Executive Chef Kevin Peters brings the farm to your table in an exclusive 7-course small plate dinner experience, on August 24th, 2024, starting at 6:00pm. Don't miss the taste of our region, uniquely served in an 1841 limestone converted carriage house. This is a regional partnership with Frontenac, South Frontenac counties, Tourism Kingston and the City of Kingston for Open Farm Days.

Local Menu

A handpicked selection of Creel and Gambrel meats and cheeses complemented by our array of house-made pickled goods with jam from Henderson Farms

The Rise Farm quail eggs enveloped with pork from Sonset Farms finished with a Cressy Mustard Co. Dijon velouté.

Symphony of locally grown vegetables from the Patchwork Gardens, topped with Creel and Gambrel goat cheese and honey-glazed oven roasted beets finished with a maple balsamic dressing from Votary Farms and microgreens from Collective Joy Farm.

Fungi Connection hen of the wood’s mushrooms, pan seared with a medley of garlic and herbs from Patchwork Garden, sitting atop Wilton Wheat Kings baguette, with fresh cream from Limestone Organic Creamery, topped off with a sprinkle of cheese and a drizzle of balsamic glaze.

Short ribs, braised to perfection in wine from Sandbanks paired delightfully with the subtle tones of potato pave and a smooth vanilla parsnip puree.
